All parallel papers will be accessible online. They will be streamed live, with chat options for interaction during discussion time and will also be recorded and accessible to registered
participants up to August 7.

What are Parallel Papers and what is their purpose?
Parallel Papers, together with Keynotes, form the basis of the three days of the Annual Meeting (which we call conference) program. The purpose of the Parallel Papers is to
offer a platform to present, explore and share ideas, conceptual work and practice experience. Papers presented may be fully developed or still in progress, connected to the theme of
the Annual Meeting. That is Civilizations and their discontents What does that mean for the psychoanalytic study of and work with organizations?”
The Parallel Paper Selection process is highly competitive and aims to offer different perspectives of psychoanalytical, psycho-social, systems-psychodynamic and
socio-analytic approaches to groups and organizations.
What we address with the Parallel Papers Symposium
Some of the issues that we expect to be addressed by the presenters of parallel papers include those below, although this is not an exclusive list:
Who will present papers?
Papers will be presented by a range of contributors, including the following:
ISPSO members and non-members with an interest in the psychoanalytic study of organizations, practitioners (consultants and leaders), academics (teachers and researchers), clinicians, others
interested in professional development from a psychoanalytic and systems thinking perspective representing a large range of countries worldwide.
When are Parallel Papers held and how long do they run?
The Parallel papers part of the Annual Meeting (which we call the Conference) runs all day on Friday and Saturday July 5 and 6 from 9.15 to 5.45 and on Sunday July 7 from 9.15
to 1pm.
Registration for the Conference includes the full program on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday. This includes Social Dreaming in the morning from 8am to 9am, keynotes and panels (Plenary sessions) six Parallel Paper sessions during the days and Reflections on Intellectual Themes in the evening from 6pm to 7pm. See https://ispso.org/AM24-Schedule for more information. The Gala Dinner is an optional extra and incurs an extra cost of 85 Euro.
What is the detailed schedule of papers and presenters?
The detailed schedule will be developed by the Parallel Papers Committee and will be sent to everyone who as registered for the Conference. This is expected to be ready
in March 2024.
Are meals provided?
Lunch is provided for all Conference attendees on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Tea and coffee are provided in the mornings and afternoons for all attendees.
What do I need to bring?
You will probably not need anything in addition to the provided conference pack (which includes a writing pad and pen).
Can I attend the Conference if I am not a member of ISPSO?
Anyone who is interested can attend. We welcome non-members and are also offering a session for non-members on Wednesday July 3rd. This is free of charge to anyone
who has registered for the Conference.
What happens in the evenings?
There will be a social program for Conference attendees, including a Gala Dinner on Friday July 5. The program for other evenings will include mostly informal social events.
You are welcome to bring musical instruments as there will be an opportunity for informal musical jam sessions.
