Online Conference 5-11 July 2021
26 June - 2 July 2023
South Africa
Safari in Swahili means journey. Mini game drives are available at the AM venue. Please enquire at reception when you do check in.
However, if you want to experience a more immersive safari experience, then you may want to extend your trip and visit either the Pilansberg or the Kruger National Parks. The Kruger Park is
about 4 hours drive and offers self drive safaris. The Pilansberg offers guided safaris. The Pilansberg is only 2 hours drive from Johannesburg.
You don’t have to travel all the way to Kruger to see the Big Five (buffalo, elephant, lion, rhino, and leopard). Near Sun City, Pilanesberg National Park offers the classic day safari experience, complete with open 4x4s and safari guides—and air-conditioned transfers from Johannesburg. Maximize your wildlife spotting chances with two separate game drives, one morning, one afternoon, and enjoy an included lunch along the way.
The limestone caves at the Cradle of Humankind in Maropeng, a few kilometres from the AM venue, were once home to our earliest ancestors: The Hominid fossils discovered here date back over three million years. UNESCO has granted this a World Heritage Site. You will enjoy interactive exhibits at Maropeng Visitor Centre Museum and explore the mysterious Sterkfontein Caves.
