SYMPOSIUM OPENING
In addition to the essential ritual of formally opening the symposium, this session will provide participants with practical information to assist you to navigate the following three day program. It will also include a session that addresses how we might engage with each other to explore the nuances of the theme “Civilisations and their discontents:..”
The last part of the opening will be a short talk that connects us as participants with the nexus between the Symposium Theme and the socio-political history of Bulgaria.
