About Me

Tata Traore is the Deputy Director of the ACLU’s Affiliate Support and Nationwide Initiatives (ASNI) Department, where she supports nonprofit leadership, governance, and organizational development across the ACLU network. She brings over two decades of experience in movement-building, advocacy, and leadership development in the U.S. and globally. Tata is a License Qualifying psychoanalyst at the National Psychological Association for Psychoanalysis (NPAP) in New York and integrates psychoanalytic and group relations thinking into her coaching and organizational consulting work. She was introduced to applied psychoanalysis through Tavistock-style group relations conferences and continues to apply those insights in her day-to-day leadership practice.
