Lydia has worked for over 20 years in clinical, training and organisational consultancy roles, drawing on her background as a psychoanalytic child psychotherapist and her original training as an orchestral double bass player and music therapist. Working since 2008 at the Tavistock Clinic in clinical and academic roles, she has staffed and directed GRC's since 2011. She was Editor in Chief of the Journal of Child Psychotherapy from 2018-2021, and has published on Work Discussion (a model of reflective practice), leadership and followership, and early interactions in learning disability.
