In taking a practitioners stance, our main intention is to offer inputs and reflections on how the above challenges might be addressed. How can we as psychodynamic practitioners increase the awareness and understanding of process focus and emotional work in this type of organizations? To start this discussion we both present a number of relevant theories re. consultant interventions and we outline two empirical cases from an action learning context - where we describe our reflections and some of our interventions. We reflect on the reflections shared and those not shared. In discussing the empirical cases our aim is to contribute to a discussion around consultant interventions, offer possible perspectives, and engage in a discussion where alternative views and hypothesis are proposed. We are asking you to join us on a journey back in time to consider some of the factors that might have been at play in the cases.
