North America Northeast Regional Meeting
The Scaffold and the Storm: Holding Structure While Welcoming Change
The ISPSO (International Society for the Psychoanalytic Study of Organizations) and the New York Center for the Study of Groups, Organizations, and Social Systems are pleased to invite you to a collaborative North America Northeast Regional meeting on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at the William Alanson White Institute in New York City.
The Scaffold and the Storm: Holding Structure While Welcoming Change explores navigating uncertainty while maintaining ethical purpose, thoughtful leadership, and organizational containment.
Through a combination of social dreaming, interactive dialogue, experiential learning, and case consultation, participants will examine how psychoanalytic and systems perspectives can deepen our understanding of leadership, authority, adaptation, and organizational life in times of rapid change.
Whether you are an experienced consultant, a leader working within organizations, or someone curious about applying psychoanalytic thinking to today's complex workplace challenges, this gathering offers an engaging opportunity to think together, learn from one another, and strengthen our professional community. All are welcome.
Save the date: Saturday October 24, 2026
Join us for a day of conversation exploring leadership, organizational life, and the tensions between structure and change. Registration details and the full program will be shared soon.
We look forward to welcoming you. Stay tuned for more information.
