The walls within: working with defenses against otherness

Online Conference 5-11 July 2021

Annual Meeting Scholarship Fund

THE FUND

GOAL
ISPSO’s Annual Meeting is a much-anticipated opportunity to meet in-person with colleagues new and old from across the globe. The cost can be a potential barrier to participation. The goal of the Scholarship Fund is to provide a helping hand to ISPSO member participants who would otherwise struggle to afford the cost of attending the AM.

Individual grants of up to US$1,000 will be made available in the fund process.

TARGET AUDIENCE
ISPSO wishes to make all AMs more accessible to a broader range of participants through making grants, for the specific purpose of attending the Annual Meeting.

We are keeping the criteria for grant applications to a minimum and assume that you are engaged in the psychoanalytic study of organisations, perhaps through your work and/or your studies. You may, for example, be a student or in the earlier stages of your career and have not yet established a practice that provides sufficient income to pay to attend the AM.

Annual Meeting Scholarships are available to current ISPSO members.  Note that there are reduced fee options to join ISPSO. We welcome applications from practitioners (coaches, consultants and leaders), academics (students, teachers and researchers) and clinicians who are interested in and/or utilise a psychoanalytic lens in their work with organisations.

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION PROCESS

DO YOU SEE YOURSELF REFLECTED IN THE TARGET AUDIENCE ABOVE?
If so, please complete this application form:  ISPSO AM Scholarship Application

All applications will be put into a lottery and picked at random.

FUND ANNOUNCEMENTS
The lottery recipients will be informed via email.  Successful applicants would receive funds directly from ISPSO after successful applicants provide their bank details.

Contributions

There will be an opportunity for all ISPSO members to contribute to the Annual Meeting Scholarship Fund. Members can contribute any amount they wish in order to fund more grants of up to US$1,000, with the goal of broadening further the participation in AMs.  If you’d like to contribute, please go the contribution form:  AM Scholarship Fund Contribution form  to provide credit card information.
