Envy at Work

Once the values of loyalty and affiliation in the organization have gone, paradoxically the role of the organizational glue seems to be replaced by the feelings of envy, especially if they're not expressed in extreme ways. This is in line with the transformation of the organizational culture from a paternalistic to an individualistic and meritocratic model.
